Philips Living Room retouch

Philips Hong Kong needed to integrate a 3D model of a new hi-fi system into an existing image and retouch the image to strenghten the communication. Using our extensive knowledge of Photoshop and 3D we quickly came up with the perfect solution.

To focus on the message Philips wanted to communicate, we removed the elements that did not contribute to the message. We removed the pillows on the couch, the chair, the guitar in the corner and the stool with the beverage bottles. Using 3ds Max we then created a 3D rendering of the hi-fi system and the cabinet the system stands on. The image was used as a backdrop in the application to determine the right perspective. The 3D model could now be placed, based on the position of the camera when the original photograph was taken. Last we rendered the final 3D image and positioned the 3D model in the image using Photoshop.
